Our History
Established in 1999, the organization has been a persistent pioneer in the field of accreditation, well known and respected for its combination of innovative and user-friendly business acumen and its respect for the vigorous maintenance of integrity and impartiality that is the hallmark of the quality assurance profession.
United Accreditation Services (UAS) have pioneered novel approaches to accreditation that permit via quantitative evaluation of conformity assessment body (CAB), performance.
We have gone a lot further than just ‘Yes’/ ‘No’ in our accreditation process. Our objective accreditation reporting permits us to monitor the performance of CABs year on year and provides us the ability to determine, in detail, the manner in which CABs are attaining the levels of excellence we demand.
What we do
As a non-profit organization, UAS operates in accordance with international standards and requirements while maintaining integrity and impartiality while considering national and public interests. As a not-for-profit accreditation body, UAS is not obligated to comply with any commercial or financial obligations in making decisions. It has established an independent, impartial, and transparent accreditation system.
UAS represents stakeholders’ interests at international forums while simultaneously ensuring impartiality and objectivity of its accreditation process.
UAS provides accreditations to certification, personnel certification, testing and calibration, inspection, and medical imaging centres bodies in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 17024, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020, AHPI Scheme- Green and Clean hospital management system scheme (GCHMS-Part I) for Hospitals and Green and Clean hospitality management system scheme (GCHMS-Part II) for safe and Healthy workplaces, and ISO 15189 after a successful evaluation of their competence against the foundation’s own criteria. With the revision of its schemes for Certification bodies as per ISO/IEC 17065 and Medical imaging centres as per ISO 15189 coming to an end soon, it will soon be able to provide these accreditations too.
